Personal Description:
I am a friendly, mature, reliable and responsible person who thrives on the challenges and succeses encounted within the classroom and teaching environment. I am an organised person with good time management skills. I have a positive outlook on life and enjoy meeting people from different walks of life.
Teaching Experience:
I am employed by West Lothian Council as a primary school teacher. I am currently assigned to teach P1 in all areas of the curriculum and I have previously taught P6/7, P1/2, P1, P2, P3 and P2/3 stages. It is my prime responsibility to provide a safe, happy and productive environment in which learning can take place.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutor will be to assess the indivudal's strenthens and skills and areas that need to be worked on. I will tutor by using different teaching strategies such as discussions, demonstrating examples of good work, working collaboratively through examples, individual tasks and assigning activities for practise and consolidation.
