Information About Louise:

Personal Description:

I am a final year undergraduate at University College London. I am willing to help and tutor all ages and abilities with French and Italian (up to GCSE level, AS/A2 Level tuition by further arrangement) and Mathematics (up to age 14). I am very flexible, being available most of the time, apart from Saturday afternoons. I am very organsied, punctual and polite. In my spare time I take part in a volunteering project, working with Refugees, and my interests and hobbies include current affairs, reading, horse riding and walking.

Teaching Experience:

Whilst still at Sixth Form I set up an Italian Club for Year 6 students who wished to learn Italian. I also assisted in French lessons at the school. I have also been a mentor to Year 7 and 8 students in order to help them with their French and Italian. At the moment I am volunteering with a Refugee centre by teaching adolescent refugees about aspects of British culture. I have a CRB check.

Tutoring Approach:

The tutoring that I offer is very much based around the individual needs of the tutee. I am very patient and will make sure that the tutee fully understands a certain topic before moving on to anything else. My lessons are well structured and organised in order that the tutee feels that they have accomplished something from the lesson. If the tutee would prefer to have lessons based around particular subjects, for example those encountered in previous homeworks I would be equally happy to base learning and support around that.
