Personal Description:

I am a Biology teacher with many years experience and considerable success across the ability range. I have been tutoring one to one for for 3 years and keep up to date by marking A-levels. I am also a qualified Yoga teacher and am able to help students with stress management.

Comprehensive system 8 years experience as a Biology teacher
College of Further Education 10 years experience as a Biology, Food Science and Environmental Science teacher
Public School 14 years experience as a Biology teacher, personal tutor and UCAS adviser (most recent)



Tutoring Approach:

I spend time discovering the problem areas for each student both with their education to date and their study skills. I aim my tutoring to each student as an individual using diagrams along with the spoken and written word to aid learning. Analysing past papers is a key part of my teaching.
