Information About Rachael:
Personal Description:
I am a hard working and patient individual with a deep passion for reading and writing. I have recently graduated with a first class honours degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies and have been accepted onto an MA in English Literature. My ambition for the future is to become a lecturer in English Literature.
Teaching Experience:
I have work experience in both primary and secondary schools. I currently teach drama at Farnworth Little Theatre on a voluntary basis. I have experience proof reading and editing University level transcripts.
Tutoring Approach:
The best teachers I have had were always enthusiastic and passionate enough to make me interested in the subject too.
I am able to work with you to develop invaluable research and planning skills that are transferable between subjects.
I am confident assisting the construction and presentation of written projects, coursework and essays.
I can teach independent study skills, more efficient revising techiniques and edit or proof read large projects/essays.
My greatest area of expertise is English Literature books and poetry on the GCSE or A-level syllabus.
