Personal Description:
I am fully qualified with the Trinity CertTesol qualification, BA Degree, and Diploma in TESOL. I have worked at summer school in Cambridge University and have also been observed by the BRITISH COUNCIL. I have also recently completed the International Diploma in Language Teaching Management at International House in Barcelona. As part of the MA in Education and Leadership programme from The University of Queensland.
I cover all areas of London and do home visits.
Teaching Experience:
I am highly experienced and have worked with all age groups, including teenagers in Cambridge, and young learners as young as 5 years old in Shanghai, China. I have also taught for many colleges in London, providing literacy level skills in conjunction with the government. I have expertise in Business as I have worked as a Background Screening Analyst for one of the world's largest screening companies. My clients included: Goldman Sachs, Gazprom, Dubai World, The Bank of China, Emirates, and HSBC and many other high profile clients. As a result, I also offer a variety of Business English courses and can help you with presentations (Powerpoint writing and speaking) as well as report writing.
Tutoring Approach:
I use a variety of methods to ensure that the student retains information well. I conduct regular tests and reviews. I also tailor the lesson to your requirements specified in the consultation. This allows me to add more speaking or more theoretical elements to the classes. (Combination of student centered and teacher centered approach) Flexible and adapted to the learning styles of the specific student, as learning is a unique process and each student is unique.
