Personal Description:

Currently work for a top accountancy firm as an accountant, I have a passion for Business and Maths with a strong and rigorous approach to solving problems. My first Bachelors is in Investment & Financial Risk Management which has given me a strong foundation in core areas of finance and its applicability to business and economics. My second degree which I am still studying for is in Applied Mathematics and Statistics which is giving me the scientific background I seek.

Teaching Experience:

I taught Maths and English to kids and teenagers at Explore Learning for 9 months where I quickly found myself working in an environment which suited my natural ability to communicate complex concepts to students of disparate abilities. This is something which I would like to continue.

Tutoring Approach:

Its always important to understand the students background before you even begin to touch the subject matter, this gives you an idea of what level you need to teach at and how best to communicate the concepts which need to be taught. This may require one to change both body language and verbal communication used. There are 3 types of learners the visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learners. Most people are a combination of all 3 but will generally have a stronger preference to one of these areas. The best approach is one which utilizes all 3 but also makes use of the students natural learning style.
