Personal Description:
Native Greek speaker, visited Primary School in Sissani and completed A Levels in Eratyra, Northwest Greece.
Graduate in German Literature and Education in Frankfurt. In the UK since 1994, married, 3 daughters currently at University and the youngest year 9. 1995 I started producing and presenting Greek Lessons for the London Greek Radio and also producing and presenting current affairs programmes for Hellenic TV based in London.
Teaching Experience:
Taught GCSE and A Levels at the Greek Community Schools, lectured Modern Greek at The London Metropolitan University and since 1998 I am self employed running "Greek Language Tuition". Students come for lessons to my house/office in Bromley or I visit them in their home or office. Parallel I work for the Language Schools "linguarama" and "Berlitz" in London.
Tutoring Approach:
During the many years of teaching I developed my own teaching materials from beginners to advanced levels and the secret for my successful lessons is the combination of scientific knowledge, planning and spontaneity and the ability to assess and consider every student's personal attitude to learn. Every lesson for me is like a job interview and I am currently employed by 20 students.
