Personal Description:

I grew up in Japan, and have lived and worked in Japan and Taiwan, so I have a good command of Japanese and Mandarin. I have the advantage over native speakers of having mastered them as a foreign language for myself, so I know from experience how to teach it.

I am passionate about teaching, and passing on whatever knowledge I have, helping others improve their potential.

Teaching Experience:

A level and GCSE Japanese teacher at an independent school.
2 years teaching A level and GCSE Japanese for a highly recognized specialist language school.
4 years teaching Japanese and Chinese to students one-to-one, and in small groups, from 5 years old to adult. In person and online.
Group lessons for the Japan Foundation in London.
1 year teaching in a Senior High School in Japan
2 years teaching in a Language school in Taiwan.
2 months teaching in Brighton.
2 years teaching one to one English.
Over 10 years as a language learner, so I have been in your shoes, and can share the innovative techniques and memorization methods I've used.
