Personal Description:
I am a former professional Civil Engineer who has made a major career change by becoming a teacher. I have a wealth of life and academic skills to offer and I'm passionate about being able to offer my experience to those willing to learn.
Friends and colleagues would say that I'm easy going, engaging and knowledgeable.
In my previous career I travelled the world and worked in some unlikely places. I am richer from having lived and worked with different people and cultures.
Teaching Experience:
Throughout my career I have taught and mentored student engineers in various topics including structural engineering and contract and commercial law.
I mentored and took notes for partially disadvantaged students at Manchester University in BSc. (Hons) Mathematics, Physics and Biology and am presently studying for a professional qualification in Teaching.
Tutoring Approach:
I passionately believe in education as a journey through life and I prefer to design my courses as fully inclusive as possible with the resources available.
I am patient and sensitive to students needs and yet will always remain a professional with the students' best interests as my primary concern.
