Personal Description:

I am a third year medical student (passed second year with merit) studying at King's College London who is friendly, down-to-earth and willing to be a very effective tutor. I have an excellent academic background achieving 10 A*s and 5 As at GCSE Level (certificates available for proof). At A-Level, I achieved 4 straight As (my A levels were taken before the new A* grade) in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics. Moreover, as part of my medical degree, I intercalated in 2013 (added a BSc degree for a year) and gained a First Class Honours BSc in Pharmacology.

I have a lot of experience in tutoring students (2+ years), both in the school setting and outside of school and I have been of immense benefit to those I have tutored with several commenting on my unique approach to it.

I have tutored for a total of approximately 500 hours and rising in A-Level and GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Economics. I also was given some awards for my effective work as a tutor in my secondary school and sixth form.

Tutoring Approach:

I strongly believe that a tutor must get response from the student which demonstrates understanding and I do this in a friendly and interactive manner which gets the best from my students.

This principle is crucial because it lets me know with as much certainty as possible that my student has understood my lesson rather than hoping that this is the case based on my explanations as a tutor which is what happens in most school settings.
