Information About Jay:

Personal Description:

I am currently working my way through a Japanese degree and I have a high interest in the Japanese language and enjoy it very much; for my A levels at college I studied English at A level with computing, I graduated with grades of AAB.

I took a night class for Japanese and have attained a A* GCSE and I have various Asset language certificates up to level 8 in Japanese.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught others Japanese around the ages of 14-20 and with the age groups I have managed to relate with my pupils. I have done this for around 6 months with Japanese. I was also employed for attending communication workshops in high schools, which ranged from me interacting with pupils aged 11-16, so I have experience working with different age groups.

Tutoring Approach:

For teach English as a foreign language, I concentrate on conversational and reading skills; anything else that you would like to work on just let me know. This will improve your confidence skills for using a second language.

With Japanese, I can teach, writing, reading and conversational skills. This will be based on textbook work for the higher levels. I will have you speaking and understanding Japanese in no time at all.
