Personal Description:
I am19 years of age. I am a student studying and English Degree with the Open University. I am an outgoing individual who loves to socialize with people and would like to become a teacher in the near future. I am computer literate and have achieved A Levels in Psychology and English literature and an AS Level in ICT.
Teaching Experience:
I dont have much teaching experience but I have had work experience in a school environment as a Teaching Assistant. I had to assist the teacher to help prepare for lessons. Interact with children in class. Mentor children on a one to one basis with their basic reading and writing skills.
Tutoring Approach:
I would approach tutoring as I would approach a child in a school. Be calm and understanding and allow myself and the child to get to know one another. it is essential that the child should be treated in a way in which a child would be treated in school and to make sure that tutoring is made fun in a happy environment so the child would like to continue coming on a regular basis.
