Personal Description:

I have had a lifelong passion for all aspects of music creation and production, with enthusiasm to share my knowledge with others. I constantly endeavour to develop individual abilities and understanding of the subject and better myself. I am interested in writing as part of an ensemble or solo artist; moreover not scared to explore new and unknown genres to widen my musical palate. My free time is enjoyed with home studio production and novel reading; writers such as Dostoevsky, Wilde and King are particularly respected. After University, travels across the world have opened my understanding and admiration for culture and produced a true thirst for these different lifestyles with desire to discover more.

- Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status - IfL

- PGCE - (GDTLLS) Teaching qualification specialising in Music Technology, computer production and Music Performance. Also PTTLS qualification.

- High experience lecturing Edexcel Music Technology A-Level, and BTEC Music Level 2/3 - Assessment writing and Internal Verifier for Music/Music Technology.

- BA (Hons.) Degree - 2:1 Second Class Hons. (1st Division) 'Popular Music and Music Technology' at Derby University.

Tutoring Approach:

Three years full-time teaching experience in both Secondary and Further Education, more than five years Popular Music and Music Technology education, with knowledge of the industry and performance. Have excellent practice teaching Music Technology A-level, in addition taught BTEC Music Level 2/3. Have a high-quality comprehension of live sound reinforcement practices and international teaching experience.

Professional guitar tutor, with more than 10 years experience in both electric and acoustic styles.
