Personal Description:
I'm an Italian girl, age 28. Thanks to my international experiences I have a friendly and open attitude towards people
I love languages and I perfectly know the difficulties you can face approaching a new language.
I speak Italian , English, German and understand very well Portuguese, Spanish and French.
I am passionate about people and their own stories, cultures, experiences that's way i think that the best way to relate to people is speaking their own language!
Teaching Experience:
I worked as Italian teaching assistant in a secondary high school in Germany. That was my first experience of teaching with a class. I enjoyed seeing my pupils interested and excited in my language and person! I liked and learned finding new ways to interest pupils and further their attention span.
I also teached Italian in a evening private school. My students were adults, 20- 60 years old.
They were very self motivated and passionate about me and my culture. I got rewarding and satysfying results from them.
Whilst at school I taught English to a 15-year-old and helped an 11-year-old with her homework.
Tutoring Approach:
i think the biggest barrier while learning a new language is the "shame of speaking"
During my tutoring I will focus on conversation(+ pronunciation) and grammar.
Depending on the level and needs of each student, I will create ad hoc individual programms in order to fight all their weaknesses.
