Katie - Battersea tutor
Information About Katie:
Personal Description:
I am a friendly and enthusiastic individual with many extra-curricular activities and a keen interest in travel; I have spent a year studying abroad in Hong Kong.
I have completed my undergraduate degree in Edinburgh, where I was the Immunology class representative and so am used to organising teams and meeting goals.
I am currently undertaking a law conversion course and am willing to offer advice on future careers.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching a range of students on and off through the course of my university career. The highlights include spending three months teaching a group of fourteen year old students spoken English in Hong Kong, during which I aimed to make the classes fun in order to motivate the students.
I also have experience teaching mature students.
Tutoring Approach:
I am approachable and patient with students, and dedicated to achieving goals.
I am available for home visits Monday and Tuesday daytime and evening, and Saturday and Sunday daytime.
I organise my tutor sessions in line with the current syllabus and work as directly as possible with past exam papers. I understand that each student learns differently, and aim to cater to their individual needs.
I am available for tutoring in all sciences up to GCSE level, and Biology up to A-level.
