Personal Description:

I am a dedicated and very patient 18 year old who always put the students first. Though very young, I have to try to compete with other tutors with putting relatively low prices. However, this is not a reflection of work that I will put in. I will try my very best to help students in any way that I can to help them achieve the grades that they deserve.

I will tailor my teaching styles to match my students' learning style to assess whether the preferred learning style is speech, text or visual.

I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Exeter as an undergraduate student. In my first year, I achieved a First Class.

I am available to teach GCSE Maths Higher and Foundation (familiar with all boards) and 11+ exams.

A in A-level Biology
A in A-level Chemistry
A in A-level Mathematics
A in AS-level Further Mathematics
A* in GCSE Higher Mathematics

Teaching Experience:

Prior to moving to Exeter, I have tutored students from both primary and secondary school children in London.
Have been tutored for a year and a half, so I know how a tutee should be treated, and the protocols that come with tuition.
I taught in a primary school, in Malaysia, English and Maths, so I do have experience working with students.
I have been into 2 Grammar schools where entrance tests is required for entry; I have a lot of information about how these tests work.

Tutoring Approach:

I shall coach my students in not only gaining the correct knowledge, but also in teaching them about exam techniques and timing in exams. I do this by setting my students some homework, giving them examples, and printing out some past papers for them to do. I will also advise them on revision techniques.

Qualifications:

• A in A-level Mathematics
• A in AS-level Further Mathematics
• Passing the entrance exam for entry into the sixth form (The Latymer School)
• Passing the entrance exam for entry into year 7 (Queen Elizabeth's Boys' School)
