Information About Christopher:


Personal Description:

I am a Philosophy student about to enter my third year at Heythrop College London. I am a fluent German speaker with Austrian heritage and recieved an award for marks in the top 5 in the country at GCSE level and an A at A-level. I also received As for History and Philosophy and Ethics. I very much enjoy teaching, particularly on a 1-one-1 basis and have helped friends and peers both in and outside of school to push the boundaries of their expectations and acheive more than they thought they were able to.



Teaching Experience:

A CELTA course at International House London taught me to capitalise upon my informal experience and teach English to a high standard.



Tutoring Approach:

I am a relaxed person and prefer to put my tutees at ease when they are learning. Study does not have to be an uphill struggle and through a careful and considered approach and discussion, students can feel comfortable in the knowledge that I am not simply a school teacher enforcing the basic 'jump-through-hoops' approach which seems prevelant in todays educational system. Having said this, if there are particular requirements desired from me, I shall do my best in order to make sure that these are fulfilled
