Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic advocate of English Literature and personal development, and take delight in expanding people's horizons. I am a published poet, and have a practical understanding of literature, as well as the more usual critical approaches.



Teaching Experience:

I have given personal guidance and led writing workshops in Newcastle, York and the South Shropshire area.



Tutoring Approach:

I try to be flexible within reasonable limits: because I believe that learning is a demanding process, and a considerable investment on behalf of both parties concerned, I use the first session to set goals with the tutee.
