Personal Description:
I am a professional, qualified, friendly and patient teacher. I love teaching because it gives me a lot of personal and professional satisfaction as well as provides me with opportunities to meet new people and face new challenges. I have a passion for literature and I have always enjoyed sharing it with other people and helping them learning more about my own language. I like reading, travelling and photography.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified teacher of Polish Language, Culture and Literature with experience teaching English and Polish as a second language.
I have been teaching Polish since 2000 both in Poland and in England. I have started my career as a language tutor in Poland at The Lublin Catholic University. From 2005 I have been working at primary and secondary schools in England as learning support assistant. Currently, I teach Polish at the language school in London.
Tutoring Approach:
It actually depends on people I work with, their learning goals, their nature, interests, age etc. First, I usually try to find out why a particular person wants to study and what kind of learner she or he is and then I use variety of teaching methods that are the most suitable for the learner. Bearing in mind my own experience of learning languages I will not make you read long texts and write essays during our classes but I will involve you in role playing and games.
