Personal Description:
I am currently working in one of the 'outstanding' colleges in the United Kingdom, with a degree in Sociology and Social Policy (BSc hons) I also have a MA International Politics/History and am in the final stages of a Doctorate in Educational Studies.
Tutoring sessions can be flexible and are usually conducted at the tutee's residence, the learning style will be specially catered for every individual tutee.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching now for 6 years at an extremely successful Catholic Sixth Form College in central Manchester, our results are excellent and all aspects of the college are ranked as 'grade 1 - outstanding'. My specialist subjects are sociology, history and philosophy.
I also teach on the Stanford University summer International Baccalaureate course in the USA (California) and the subject I teach here is history and philosophy.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is geared to the needs of the tutee. I variety of activities and tasks will be set up to promote the best learning environment possible.
No tutoring will be inflexible, tutee's will learn in an environment that they are comfortable and secure.
