Joseph - Highbury tutor
Information About Joseph:
Personal Description:
I find pleasure in breaking down complex scientific concepts and theories, not only in to bite size chunks; easily understood by different age groups, but also convert the same complex concepts in to unexpectedly exiting knowledge. Experience gained in working in laboratories, schools and hospitals has equipped me with excellent communication skills in three languages and fantastic numeracy skills. I am actively optimistic and enthusiastic with Catholic morals.

The role played by a Thr40 to Gly40 amino acid change in the repressor (TetR) protein of the TetRO(z) system in reducing reduced background expression from the tetracycline inducible promoter, was also investigated.

New concepts taught should always be made interesting and relevant to everyday life. I therefore try to make difficult concepts interesting and relevant to students; this method has proved a success on numerous occasions.
