Personal Description:
As a recent graduate of Imperial College London holding a Civil Engineering degree, I have been able to prove my ability in applying Physics and Mathematics to a high level. This has lent to my strength in these areas of teaching. In addition I am confident to tutor Chemistry to A-level standard having recently undertaken a Chemistry module as part of my degree.
I commit myself whole-heartedly to everything I do. I believe this is necessary to be able to benefit from any activity or learning opportunity.
Teaching Experience:
My teaching experience is limited to tuition in GCSE mathematics, however I had often found myself explaining concepts and ideas within physics and chemistry based modules to my fellow classmates at school through to university.
Tutoring Approach:
I find that understanding is key to increasing ones interest, self-learning and attainment in a subject. My teaching style therefore involves holistic learning while retaining focus on the syllabus. Everyone has different ways of thinking, which is why I also find it important to use a variety of methods in problem solving.
My approach is flexible to the student's existing knowledge and pace of learning. Areas for improvement can be discussed throughout to ensure a constant progression during and after tuition.
