Information About Zoe:
Personal Description:
I am a Head of Music at a Hertfordshire Secondary School, and I am looking to teach students for Piano, Flute, Music Theory, GCSE or A Level music teaching, Music technology, or Psychology, all if which I currently teach at A Level. I am originally from Gloucestershire, and I have lived in Hertfordshire for 5 years.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching in Secondary Schools for 5 years, teaching a range from primary school children to those of A Level Standard. I am currently teaching GCSE Music, Rock School Diploma, AS Music and A Level Music and Music Technology and A level Psychology.
Tutoring Approach:
I am always happy to put students through their qualifications and gain the grades they deserve. However, I think it is very important to build a repertoire, and for the student to understand the context of the pieces, rather than just to rush through the grades. I have an informal approach with the students, getting to know them well, their nervousness and building their confidence to be excellent performers through time and consistent teaching.
