Confident, driven, friendly and learned, I feel that I have a wealth of experience in imparting knowledge, instilling ideals and motivating others; qualities which make for a successful tutor.
Teaching Experience:
* I was a Mentor at MSc level to under-graduate students {covering Economics and Finance} managing a class of 20, setting assessments, dealing with problem-solving and preparing for formal examinations.
* I was a tutor for 11+ entrance exams {covering verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and maths} to a class of four students. This position involved delegating time efficiently to the three conflicting subjects, identifying areas of weakness within the individual students, and preparing them for their first exam experience. All four students were successful in attaining seats at top grammar and private schools.
Tutoring Approach:
I received academic tutoring from a young age, and strongly believe that tuition is only one part of a series of factors which lead to educational success. Intense competition in an ever-expanding world has much raised the standard of what is expected of children, teens and adults education-wise, so the need to not only conform, but to surpass these obstacles is absolutely necessary. This is achievable through inspiring children and teens at a young age, and tailoring their present lives to accommodate their future plans. From revision plans to essay writing to night-before preparation, I am confident that I would be able to guide and teach students to educational success. Adept, motivated, and a meticulous perfectionist, I feel that I would be an excellent role model and tutor.
