Julian - Canterbury tutor

Information About Julian:

Personal Description:

I am a 2:1 graduate in Forensic Science from the University of Kent, with a strong formation in all the sciences, as well as the ability to see and convey practical applications to the sciences.French for all my life,
I am also half French, speaking it fluently as a native speaker.
Having studied French for all my life, and having studied the sciences for six years, I feel that I am skilled enough to pass the knowledge onto others

Teaching Experience:

During my Sixth Form years, I did pro-bono tutoring of A-level French students, and as I actually took the A-level (AS and A2 was taken in the same year, of my 3rd year of sixth form) I also acted as an unofficial classroom assistant. I have also taught my university peers some of the harder concepts of forensic science.

Tutoring Approach:

I think it is extremely important to tailor the tutoring to the needs of the individual student, and to be as engaging and interesting with them as possible, while still pushing them, so that they can make the best of their education.
I stongly believe that prior to any tutoring taking place, a totor should establish exactly what a tutee desires out of it, and to establish the way they learn and their grasp of the subject, so that they can get the maximum value.
