Personal Description:

I am offering tuition in Spanish and Italian to any level - beginners, GCSE or A Level and adult learners, including exam preparation.


In July 2013 I graduated in Italian and Spanish with First Class Honours from the University of Bristol. 2011-2012 I worked for five months in Barcelona as a translator and web designer and studied at the University of Siena in Italy for five months, taking courses in linguistics and psychology.

I have experience working with young people and an enhanced CRB/DBS disclosure.

Available evenings and weekends in Central, South and South East London plus areas of Surrey and Kent.

Teaching Experience:

I ran a drama club for 11-14 year olds in my last year of sixth form, and organised a fashion show for 16-18 year olds. I have led reading groups with children of varying ages. I have been tutoring children, teenagers and adults since July 2010 and assisted in Spanish classes in a senior school in Bristol from October 2010 to June 2011.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the tutoring should be shaped by the tutee, not the tutor. It is up to the tutee what they want to achieve and therefore what they learn, what they need to improve, what they're struggling with and need my help with. I will always discuss with the student first what they would like to gain from my tuition and work from there, making sure they're happy every step of the way.

• Spanish and Italian degree (First)
• Five months working in Spain
• Five months studying in Italy
• One academic year assisting in year 7-12 Spanish classes
