Personal Description:
I have a degree, masters and PGCE from Warwick University and have been teaching at a local secondary school for the past 4 years.
Teaching Experience:
Since leaving university, I have experience of teaching at 5 schools in Birmingham. I am currently teaching at an inner city school and have been in employment there for 4 years.
After my third year of teaching I was promoted to the head of department.
Due to my experience I am able to tailor my teaching style to suit a wide range of individuals learning needs.
Apart from the professional side of teaching. I have been successfully tutoring for 2 years with many students who have gone on to pass their 11+ to gain access to grammar schools.
Tutoring Approach:
My experience ranges from teaching a class of 30 to tutoring one-to-one and have shown great results in both.
My strengths come in being able to relate to young learners and understand the difficulties they have with a certain topic or subject.
