Information About Neville:

Personal Description:

I am currently back in Northern Ireland for two months. I work full-time as an English tutor in China during the academic year, where I teach English for Academic Purposes (EAP). As I am only back for a short time over this summer, I would probably be of particular help to anyone writing a thesis/dissertation at present. I may also be interested in a language exchange, if there are any Mandarin speakers interested.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught English for 7 years, in a variety of contexts and locations, including Taiwan, Japan, the UK and currently in mainland China. For the past two and a half years I have been teaching EAP.

Tutoring Approach:

This will depend on what the tutee requires. I like to keep lessons as student centred as possible, but I will tailor the lesson to the tutees requirements.

Qualifications:

• MSc. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
