Information About Jason:
Personal Description:
I am a Civil Engineering student at Loughborough University, about to start my final year. The course I am studying is an MEng, and I have previously carried out a year in industry working for a structural design consultancy.
Teaching Experience:
I have carried out teaching experience at my secondary school whilst doing my A-levels, helping younger students with their GCSE's. The industry I work in is very much knowledge based, where there is always the need to teach others through sharing of information.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to take a relaxed approach, with a good structure, including clear learning objectives to whichever curicculum is necessary. From personal experience I understand it is good to let the student think through their own ideas before learning the correct method.
I am a great believer in practical experience and try to use imaginative, visual concpets to aid understanding.
