Personal Description:
After having completed PGDipEd in Mathematics at the University of Birmingham, I worked as an NQT at Hillcrest school which I successfully passed. I have studied French at A-levels. I lived in France for a few years which gives me a good background knowledge about the language. Therefore, I am fluent in French as well as in Tamil.
I am very passionate about teaching and willing to help students achieve their potential.
Teaching Experience:
I have a lot of experience in tutoring different age groups. I have tutored GCSE students while at school and college. I have worked part time at Moseley school as a learning assistant where I help out in lessons as well doing one-to-one tutoring with the students. I have also taught a group of GCSE students independently.
As mentioned above, I have been working as a full-time Maths teacher for a year in order to complete my NQT.
Tutoring Approach:
I can adapt to different ways of teaching which suits the student best.
I can help plan out revision time table which works for the individual to help them succeed in their exams.
I can also provide additional resources to help practise.
