Personal Description:

Originally from Sussex, I lived in London for 8 years whilst studying for my degree and then working in the music industry. I have been living in Cheshire for the past 5 years since taking up my first teaching post in the area.

Teaching Experience:

I am an experienced primary teacher currently working in upper KS2 but with experience of teaching in all key stages. I have tutored several children in years 5 and 6 in maths, reading and writing.

Tutoring Approach:

I strive to make all of my tutoring sessions lively, fun and focused around a topic which the child finds interesting and engaging. Enjoyment is the key to enabling children to want to learn and discover a desire for knowledge!

Qualifications:

• P.G.C.E.
• BA (hons) English and Sociology
• A levels English Literature, English Language, Sociology, Combined Science
• 10 GCSEs including English, Maths and Science
