Personal Description:
Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am a teacher of Science.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently completing a PGCE (Initial Teacher Training) at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk. I have worked as a teacher at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C High School in Skelmersdale and Bispham High School in Blackpool. I teach Chemistry, Biology and Physics to Key Stage 3 (11-14 yrs) and Chemistry and Biology to A-Level. I have been observed and assessed throughout my Initial Teacher Training by Edge Hill Tutors and have been graded as a 1/2 Outstanding/Good teacher.
Tutoring Approach:
As a teacher I have a huge responsibility to the young people I teach and it is this role I take very seriously and with a great sense of enthusiasm. I have the highest expectations of the pupils I teach and I provide the tools necessary to allow pupils to succeed. It is my job not only to prepare young people to acquire the highest achievable grades but also to instil in them a sense of enthusiasm and enjoyment into discovering the subject of Science.
