Information About Kevin:


Personal Description:

I am currently a 5th year graduate medic at Imperial College London.

I have a Bachelors degree in Biological sciences (First class) from the University of Alberta in Canada. I have extensive training in biology, physiology and other sciences and have performed exceptionally well in these areas at university.



Teaching Experience:

Have been a tutor for over a year in maths (GCSE level)
Spent 3 months in the summer of 2008 in Tanzania teaching subjects on health and biology
Work well with students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities



Tutoring Approach:

I'm a very friendly and approachable person. I believe tutoring is as much about confidence building as learning. I will help you in a very constructive and supportive manner.

I wish to approach tutoring by first identifying the areas in which you need some extra help, taking the concepts to the basics then diligently work our way up to the level required to ensure a complete understanding of the subject.

I don't focus on endless memorisation and regurgitation. I teach in first principles, ensuring that you understand the concepts. I want to make sure that you gain a true understanding and make exams nothing to worry about.

Qualifications:

  • First Class Bsc. in Biology with Distinction

  • MBBS, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of surgery (currently studying)
