Personal Description:

I am studying in Cass business school as an undergraduate student.
I have been in the UK for 2 years and I speak good English.
As a girl, I am very patient, careful and detailed.
I like to communicate with people, so I am sensible about people's feelings. It means that I can easily understand the mood or thoughts that people will have when they lose confidence because of difficulties in study.
Mandarin is my mother language. My accent is considered standard and beautiful.
I am very good at maths since I was young. It is because I like maths and I have a good sense of logical thinking, which I will bring into the teaching process. For the module Math or Quantitative Methods, I got 100 percent and 94 percent in the autumn and spring term test and 98 percent in the final exam in ICC Foundation Course in SOAS 2008-09. This year in university I got 97.5 in the autumn term test and 76 in the spring term. These grades are well presenting my good knowledge of Maths.

Teaching Experience:

I am not a professional tutor and I do not have professional experience.
However I have mandarin-tutoring experience because I have tutored two persons in the past two years.

Tutoring Approach:

These experience was from tutorials for two tutees that I taught.
The first one has learned several basic knowledge of mandarin. In the tutorial, I basically help to correct her pronunciation and grammar errors in her short writings. Besides, I explained word by word and taught her certain combined Chinese phrases. The second tutee had not learned any Chinese before, so I gave tutorial from the very beginning of Chinese. It is the pronunciation system. I listed all vowels and consonants and all the combinations and made her read one by one, in order to strength her memory of all the pronunciation.
I used various ways and methods to strengthen their memory of words and pronunciation efficiently and attractively.
