Personal Description:
I have a degree in Physics and have taken degree level Mathematics modules. Previously I have worked within the Physcis department at Marlborough College. Currently I work in a support role in the science department of a Marlborough secondary school. I work with the Head of Physics, support science and Physics lessons and work with Physics teaching equipment everyday. I have a passion for Physics and enjoy using Mathematics in my work.
Teaching Experience:
I have been on a teching course but didn't complete the term. It is something I am considering to pursue in the future.
Tutoring Approach:
Having taught secondary science, I want the learner to engage with the subject - I dont think tutoring should be a chore. I want to get across real world / everyday and academic applications of subjects so that the subject does not appear as an abstract idea. I want the learner to understand the language and basic principles of the subject to better approach problems and questions and will offer revision and learning tips.
