Personal Description:
I'm 26 year old female with a passion for teaching.
Teaching Experience:
I'm a qualified teacher of Science with 4 years teaching experience in secondary schools in London. I specialise in Biology and teach Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE. My students are high achievers and I enjoy what I do.
I also have experience of tutoring with excellent results. My last tutee was struggling with her GCSE Science, she gained a D in her December mock. After 6 hours of tutoring over the Christmas holidays, she achieved a B in the January exam and was only 2 marks off and A grade.
Tutoring Approach:
I personalise my teaching depending on the student but in general have a positive, enthusiastic and focused attitute to tutoring.
I am very familiar with exam board specifications (especially OCR) and if preparing for exams ensure students understand everything required before working on exam technique to raise attainment in the actual exam.
I provide all resources for learning.
