Information About Helen:


Personal Description:

I am a second year Medical Student at Warwick. I love music and dance, particularly ballet. My friends would describe me as approachable and sincere.



Teaching Experience:

I helped set up a dance society at university and as such am responsible for teaching people dance routines! I have to be very clear and concise in what I am saying, very patient and aware at what pace I need to take things depending on the ability of the people who turn up. I have never formally taught anybody but would like to think that I could hold a conversation with anyone, an important transferable skill for a would-be doctor.



Tutoring Approach:

Very much play things by ear at the first session so the tutee can get to know me and I can get to know them and find out a little about their learning style. I would ask for the student to text me/call me about things they would like me to go through when I next come, so I have a 'heads-up' for preparation and we can work on the weak spots!

  • 3 A Levels, 2 AS levels
  • 12 GCSEs
