Information About Silke:
Personal Description:
I am 22 years old and currently in my 3rd year of Psychology at the University of Aberdeen. I grew up in Germany, but was brought up bilingually (German and English) due to my mother being from Scotland. Additionally, I also learnt Spanish, French and Latin while I was at school.
Teaching Experience:
I started tutoring at the age of 13, focusing on English as a Foreign Language, but also helping out school children with their German, other foreign languages (Latin, French and Spanish), and also Biology and Maths.
Tutoring Approach:
During the first meeting we will talk about our your baseline level (how much do you know, what have you done so far), your aims (what do you want to learn/be able to do after the sessions), possible perceived weaknesses and strengths, etc. This will help us work out a little "study plan". I like to encourage discussions and general oral use of a language, but will organise the sessions according to your needs and feedback.

Qualifications:
- bilingual upbringing in English and German, almost 10 years of tutoring experience (mainly secondary and high school aged children)
- German Abitur (equivalent to A-levels) in English (marks: 15/15, equivalent to A+), in Spanish (marks: 14/15, equivalent to A), in German (marks: 13/15, equivalent to A-)
