Carl - Newcastle upon Tyne tutor
Information About Carl:
Personal Description:
I am currently studying for my PhD in DNA nanowire characterisation at Newcastle University. I have a strong background in science with my main expertise being in biochemistry and biology. I enjoy sharing my knowledge in a friendly relaxed manner to achieve comfortable learning.
Teaching Experience:
I have 3 years experience of being a 'science explainer' at a local science centre. My experience involves giving large audience science shows discussing a variety of subjects to school groups and general public shows including children and adults, also delivering one to one science activities and tuition.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to make science fun which I think is important for easy learning as some concepts maybe hard to grasp at first for young learners. I like to develop lessons that involve real applications to engage the student which I think is important to make the subject easily approachable.
