Emma - Hornsey tutor
Information About Emma:
Personal Description:
I am a 23 MA History of Art graduate, currently working as a gallery manager. I studied both Archaeology, History of Art and Music during my undergraduate and I continue to learn and progress in all these disciplines today. I grew up in both the US and the Uk, helping me understand varying educational techniques.
Teaching Experience:
Although I am new to tutoring, I was part of the tutor society in my school years. I tutored (14-18 year olds) in various subjects, including History, Archaeology, History of Art, Music (Viola and Piano), and basic Biology. I also worked as a teaching assistant during my undergraduate degree.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that everyone has a different way of absorbing information and am committed to finding which approach works best for the tutee. I also believe that a multi-disciplinary approach can help someone better understand a subject. I want the student to ask questions and get involved with their learning process. I am enthusiastic and organised and am excited about any tutoring opportunities.
