Alice - Bristol tutor
Information About Alice:
Personal Description:
I read Marine Biology and Oceanography at undergraduate level at Bangor University for three years and graduated in the summer of 2009. Before furthering my education I studied Maths, Biology and English Language at A Level and previous to this I studied for 11 GCSEs all grade C and above.
I am organised, enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoy teaching to further the comprehension and knowledge in the related subjects.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored three GCSE Maths students in my local area, I have also taught my younger sisters at GCSE level for both Maths and English Language and Biology.
I have taught GCSE level pupils and also students whilst at university on nautical subjects and mathematical subjects. I was Team Captain and Treasurer in my Riding Club at University as well as a member of my University's Sub Aqua Club, both of which involved me leading and teaching groups in their respective area of learning, as well as training further in each subject at the same time.
Tutoring Approach:
Having taught several young students including my two younger sisters I have learnt that there is no one way to learning as everyone has different needs and degrees of motivation. I have good communication skills and am very patient. I am also fun and enthusiastic and believe that learning should have this approach.
