Personal Description:

An enthusiastic, approachable and professional tutor who loves the subjects!

I'm a great communicator and love it when people get that 'eureka!' moment when teaching. I greatly enjoy reading and in my spare time read extensively into the subject areas of Philosophy and Theology. Particularly, Philosophy of Religion.



Teaching Experience:

I have experience of teaching at a variety of different levels and ages. I have previously taught school students at summer schools in Birmingham and currently teach Theology to university students on a weekly basis within a church context. I have guest lectured at the University of Birmingham on Classical Problems in the Philosophy of Religion and I am also currently undertaking an MA in Philsophy of Religion and Ethics with a view to continue to doctoral level.



Tutoring Approach:

I am a committed and professional tutor who ultimately wishes to see the individual grow and improve in their knowledge of the subject. I am keen to enable parents, children and students to realise their own potential and, hopefully, enjoy learning the subject!
I provide feedback on the teaching sessions, and listen to the needs of the inividuals to know the best way to use the time most productively. I understand that many individuals underestimate their own abilities and capacity to grapple with the challenges of such subjects, and hope to encourage them to do just that!
