Information About Sam:


Personal Description:

I am a first year undergraduate student of Maths and Music at Royal Holloway, University of London. I am passionate about my subjects and love helping others to understand them. I have a strong grasp of the maths I have studied so far and strive to learn and understand more mathematical concepts as I progress with my degree.



Teaching Experience:

New to teaching but have experience in youth work having spent a year working at Savio House retreat centre, working mainly with secondary school groups in an informal, friendly and fun setting.



Tutoring Approach:

In a comfortable atmosphere, I hope to work with my student to tackle concepts that they are finding difficult to understand by talking them through, working through examples and setting appropriate follow up exercises. By this, my aim is to build up confidence and fluency in mathematical skills.
