Personal Description:
I am a very approachable person, easy to talk to and children generally like me. I have two children of my own, a grown up daughter and a son of 15. I live in Easton with my son.
Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience of working abroad in Kenya in a British Curriculum school.
I gained my PGCE in Primary at University College Worcester. I have been working as a Supply Teacher in Bristol for two years, mainly working in Trinity School, Acton Turville. Whilst I was teaching in Kenya, I gave tutoring lessons to several children in the two years I was there.
Tutoring Approach:
I work very much with the child's present knowledge and understanding, providing new ways and strategies to build on this knowledge. I use the current school's curriculum with added information gathered from books and the internet to make the lessons fun and interesting.
