Personal Description:
I am currently a third year physics student at the University of Southampton. I have always enjoyed talking through the subjects with friends and in groups and asking questions from Demonstrators and Professors. It may be time that I pass on what I have learnt.
Teaching Experience:
I have given a few lessons to my younger brother in A level statistics.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to explain what the concepts mean to me in simple words, and if it doesn't make sense to my tutee, which I will ask after each step, I will take a different approach and try to explain the same concept as viewed from a different point. This can carry on until the tutee will find the suitable approach that will be memorable for them. For me teaching is more about understanding what the tutee thinks about the concept rather than repeating words from a book or set of rules.
