Personal Description:
I am a 43 year old male, a Veterinary Graduate, married to an Accountant. We have a son who is 5 years old and in year one. I do a lot of charity wok and especially produce leaflets on health education programme and distribute among the local community. I take pride in what I do and I always do well to excel.
Teaching Experience:
I have years of experience in private teaching from home both in Sri Lanka and England. I can give extra time and commitment to the pupil to make sure that the pupils do well and always n top in their class.
Tutoring Approach:
I value and appreciate the pupil as an individual. I maintain good discipline while the pupil needs to understand/recognise the need for it. I have a consistency of approach when teaching.
I genuinely care about my pupils and I want them to succeed. I listen and respond to their ideas rather than just assessing or judging. I show personal enthusiasm for what I am teaching. I am aware that pupils learn at different speeds, some pupils will require much greater support and/or time in completing tasks and therefore develop a sense of when it is appropriate to move on to the next phase of teaching, when to stop and go back over things, when to pause for consolidation, when to accelerate the pace of learning. I use different Interaction methods such as informing, describing, explaining, modelling, demonstrating, coaching, listening, watching, questioning in order to get my pupil succeed. I can make a difference in your child's education.
