Personal Description:

My name is Windson, I am originally from Singapore and I speak both English and Mandarin fluently. I have years of experience teaching in schools and performing in Musicals, Plays and TV. I am also a highly motivated and committed teacher who enjoys sharing my knowledge with my students. There is nothing more satisfying than watching my students improve and excel.

Teaching Experience:

I have worked extensively with ACTs of Life since 2003, teaching Speech and Drama at The Singapore American Club, The Asian Civilization Museum and Cambridge Child Development Centres all over Singapore.

I also conduct Drama and Musical workshops to Primary and Secondary Schools.

One of my students was recently seen on Disney Channel's Special on the High School Musical, and in the Singapore tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Tutoring Approach:

Personally I like to think of my lesson as more of a sharing session where I can share my knowledge. I like to conduct it in a friendly manner, without any of those Teacher-Student hierarchy. Thus, the students wouldn't feel intimidated to ask any questions or be afraid to make mistakes. To me, mistakes are beneficial as long as you learn from it.

My aim is to encourage and cultivate the students' passion in the subject and bring out the best in them to the best of their abilities and merit.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Theatre Arts (2004) - Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts
• Masters in Music Theatre (Current) - Central School of Speech and Drama
