Personal Description:
I am currently training to be a speech therapist and so am in an academic setting myself. Ideally I would like to do most of my tutoring work in my holidays but as I am a university student my holidays are quite lengthy. I'm very reliable, friendly and adaptable to many situations and am keen to help people achieve all that they have potential to achieve. To give you an idea of my own academic abilities, I am currently achieving First Class results mid-way through my course.
Teaching Experience:
I have many nieces and nephews ranging from 3 years to 14 years and am aware of their curriculums and their abilities. I am also currently part of a reading programme in London to encourage students to read and further their English skills. Most of my Speech Therapy course is based around teaching people in one way or another.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a very encouraging tutor with a great deal of patience. I refuse to do the work for people, instead I prefer to help my tutees discover the answers for themselves by guiding them in the right direction. I believe anything is possible given the right approach.
