Personal Description:
A reliable, adaptable and confident person, who is able to communicate effectively.
I completed a BA German degree at the University of London in 2007. During my four year degree I was required to spend a year in Germany teaching English to students at a chosen school. I found the experience extremely rewarding and inspiring.
Since leaving university I have been working in the City and I am currently working part time for a charity.
Teaching Experience:
One year teaching experience - Teaching English to pupils at a German school.
Three months voluntary placement teaching children aged 4-11 how to read.
Tutoring Approach:
For me teaching is both rewarding and challenging. I believe that learning should be fun and not a chore.
I have been a student for many years and I realise the importance of using a variety of learning media and materials to aid learning. I gauge the learning style of the individual - visual, auditory, etc, which helps me to teach in such a way that the individual will learn and benefit to the full.
