Personal Description:

Fun, friendly, dedicated professional female! I am currently working at Sky Television in Osterley, and I am a Research Engineer.

I am 31 years old and have been educated upto Masters level. I love reading (anything from the Classics to modern teen fiction), theatre, movies (again, anything from old classics to modern futuristic to chick flicks).

I have a relaxed, yet conscientious manner and pride myself on being able to relate to just about anyone I meet and making them feel comfortable, positive and confident.

Teaching Experience:

Most recently I have taken part in voluntary tutoring at local schools through a scheme at work.

In earlier years I have tutored students ranging from 11+ to University, however now due to time constraints I would need to set my cut off at GCSE students. I have tutored in the following subjects: English Lit & Language (GCSE), Maths (11+, GCSE, A Levels and Batchelors), Physics (11+, GCSE), Combined Science (GCSE).

My students have ranged from re-takes to going for the exams the first time round, and I am extremely proud of my success rate - all my GCSE students have achieved a grade C or above for the tutored subject and their final grade achieved has always been at least one grade higher than when they started the tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:

Group tuition is also available (20ph for 1 student, then 35ph for 2 students, 45ph for 3 students etc for GCSE standard sessions).

I set achievable, realistic goals depending on the student's capability however I am a strong believer that there are no limits to what you can achieve should you apply yourself and have a little confidence!

The first thing I would do is set you a little test in order for me to able to assess your current level, and to figure out what we need to do to get you to where you want to be. we will work together step by step to achieve our joint goal :).

I believe that there are many ways in which a student can learn and overcome their difficulties - I will find the right way for you! Learning should inspire you and make you feel more comfortable about setting out into the world.

Once we have an arrangement, I am contactable out of hours, within reason! e.g. on the phone for any last minute problems and panics. I am also flexible and can do more or less lessons in a particular week, to suit the student.

• MEng (Electrical & Electronic Engineering)
• BEng (Computer Systems Engineering)
• 4 A Levels (Maths -A, Physics-A, Economics -B, General Studies-C), 3 AS Levels (French-A, English Literature - A, English Language -A)
• 10 GCSEs (Maths-A*, German-A*, French-A*, Bengali-A, Biology-A, Physics-A, Chemistry-A, History-A, English Language-A and English Literature-A).
